Director of Studies

The office of the Director of Studies is charged with the heavy responsibility of managing academic programs .This is the core activity in any learning institution. This involves managing and supervising directly all the academic activities that relate to students. This involves planning, supervising and implementing the curriculum as stipulated by the Ministry of Education. Since parents are hopefully investing in the students, the D.O.S is dedicated to work with the administration to ensure that there is value addition in  the students’ academic track record .

Nyagondo Mixed Secondary School has the following academic departments ;

1.       Languages             - Ms. Lilian Hellen

2.       Library                     - Mr. Maurice Oginga

3.       Mathematics           -Mr.  Kasili Liambili

4.       Science                    - Mr. Nicholas Ongwen

5.       Humanities                Ms. Peris Makale

6.       Applied                      Mr. Peace Wanza

7.       D.O.S.                         Mr. Kevin Alinyo

The above are respectable technocrats in their fields of specialization. The teamwork and dedication exhibited with cooperation from the students have made the departments functional towards producing performance that enable our students join the university and other tertiary and middle level colleges.

 Its my humble gratitude to the entire administration led by our very able Principal ,teachers ,non teaching staff, BOM and PA  for the support accorded to this department  in management and curriculum implementation.
